You may have been told that Xero can’t produce good reports for school finances…
That is a myth we love to bust!
Custom Reports
If you are already using Xero but still export reports to another platform, we encourage you to get these built as Custom Reports in Xero so that you can publish them in one smooth experience.
We specialise in building reports in the KiwiPark school model as per MOE. These reports meet the MOE requirements for Board of Trustee financial reporting.
You can keep it simple and summarised, or detailed and comprehensive, depending on who the audience is.
You can even have a commentary (exception reporting, executive summary, overview – whatever you like to call it) that you can update each month in Xero so that it is in the same lovely format.
Activity Reports
A great addition to your suite is an Activity Report showing all the areas of the school where funds are raised to be spent on a particular activity (netting off reports).
It can be good to have this format for those monitoring in/out activities. (These are not presented that way in your annual audited report or monthly BoT Income & Expenditure Summary.)
We also build Department Reports for your HOD’s. These show income and expenditure for each Department head.
